The School of Chemistry maintains academic relations with accredited Universities or equivalent Higher Education Institutions abroad. The action is carried out through Educational programs and Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Agreements which are regulated in accordance with the relevant Charter under the care and management of the Department of International Relations. Through Bilateral Agreements, the possibility is given for mutual exchange of professors and students, elaboration of joint research programs and joint postgraduate programs, etc. depending on the provisions of the memoranda of cooperation.

Active Inter-Institutional Agreements

The Department of International Relations is responsible for coordinating and managing the Scientific Cooperation Agreements, which the University has singed with accredited Universities or equivalent Higher Education Institutions in Europe, the Balkans and the Black Sea countries, Russia, the USA, Canada, Australia, the Near, Middle and Far East. The website of the Department of International Relations supports search for Active Agreements and in particular Active Agreements with the participation of the School of Chemistry. Among other things, there you will find the full texts of the Agreements, as well as links of the Collaborating Bodies.

For the available Active Agreements important information provided in the text of each Agreement is

  • country, city and Host Institution
  • contact details of the Coordinators of the Agreement
  • duration of the Agreement
  • list of participating Schools / Departments of AUTh
  • obligations governing the Agreement, including benefits, exemptions (eg tuition fees), financial matters, insurance, and housing
