Dr. Nikolaos Nenadis has a degree in ‘Chemistry’ (AUTh, 1999), a PhD in ‘Chemistry’ (Laboratory of Chemistry and Food Technology, School of Chemistry, AUTh, 2004) and a postgraduate degree in Applied Quantum Chemistry (Laboratory of Quantum Chemistry, AUTh, 2008). He was elected Lecturer in 2009 and now serves as a permanent Assistant Professor since 2018.

Natural antioxidants (finding new sources, valorization of byproducts of agrifood sector, chemical characterization of plant material, effect of environmental factors (e.g. UV radiation) on the antioxidant potential of plant material, changes upon storage, elucidation of structure-radical scavenging activity using in vitro and quantum chemical methods)
Quality control and oxidative stability of foods (olive oil, wine, herbs & spices)
